The keyboard shortcuts in Windows XP and Vista

Here are some tips about Windows XP and Vista. Some of these shortcuts as walking for older versions of Windows, but we did not have the means to verify it.

Windows XP and Windows Vista's keyboard shortcuts

Alt + F4 Close the active window
Alt + Tab Switches from one window to another, you must hold down the Alt button during the selection.
Alt + Esc Go to the next window.
Alt + Print Screen Captures only the active window. To use the image, you must create a software image processing such as paint or photoshop and do Edit => paste
Alt + Shift Toggle between U.S. QWERTY Keyboard French AZERTY mode, and vice versa.
Ctrl + arrow left or right Skip between words.
Ctrl + F4 Closing a window in one software.
Ctrl + Shift + Esc Displays the Task Manager.
Windows Displays the start menu.
Windows + E Open the explorer.
Windows + F Launch file search, equivalent to F3.
Windows + L Fast User Switching
Windows + M Minimizes all open windows except windows with a control box.
Windows + Shift + M Restores windows previously reduced.
Windows + R Opens the Run command.
Windows + F1 Starts the Help and Support.
Windows + Break
Open the system properties.
Maj + F10 Displays the shortcut menu (= right click with the mouse).
Maj + Del
Delete an item permanently without placing it in the trash. So beware.
Windows + Tab Poster Module Flip 3D to switch windows.
Windows + Space Displays the SideBar.
Windows + G Navigate between widgets in the sidebar.
Windows + X Open the Mobility Center for laptops.
Windows + Ctrl + F Opens the computer search Active Directory.
